Using Passivhaus to optimise energy efficiency; designed and engineered but manufacture is currently delayed due to the pandemic.

 

The client has now selected us to build a house in Belgium as well.

 

This project forms part of one of our CPD series illustrating how the climate can be less of a problem than a bungalow format & an unfavourable Area to Volume ratio.

 

Iceland has lengthy construction timescales, so MMC offsite construction of a highly integrated house more than offsets transport/accommodation costs (about 10% of budget in this case).
